Each of these Internship positions will help teach students to interact with the public, effectively problem solve and fully understand what it takes to run a baseball stadium.
These Internships are built around team work, effective communication skills, and time management.

The REX seek out 20-25 Interns every year and build programs to help prepare these students for their future in the real world. We allow the students to get some experience in their desired degree field and show them different areas for them to gain necessary knowledge within all areas of Operations. We work with students to help maintain their Internship hours and sign off on all of the jobs they have completed within the ball field. Each Intern will be the “Manager of the Day” and work in all positions.

Students are required to complete 3 Community Service Days over the summer. We will complete these all together as a group. These days can consist of street clean up days, working with the United Way on the United Way “Day of Action”, or reading to children in various camps across Terre Haute.

After their Internship is complete, we ask that each student write a 1-2 page report about their experiences and explain how the REX has helped shape their futures after college.
