Bruce has lived in Terre Haute his entire life, led by a great set of parents, Ron and Alice Rosselli, and grew up with three younger brothers, giving us all morals and values to live by. Bruce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in combination with Indiana State University, and Indiana Wesleyan University.

In high school Bruce played baseball, but set his mind toward track and field becoming a decathlete, where he trained under ISU head coach John McNichols. The decathlon is what elevated him to the Olympic level sport of bobsledding, where he was recruited by the national team.

While training and competing Bruce met his wife Cheryl, a former world class Table Tennis Champion, at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY, where both were training for the Olympics and World Championships.
Bruce and his wife have two children, daughter Paige, an Indiana State University student and on the REX intern staff, and son Tony. Tony currently plays baseball for Coach Hannahs, at Indiana State University. Tony last season played in a summer league in Wichita, Kansas and this year has been assigned to play his summer ball for the REX.

When Bruce expanded his athletic drive to the world class level training for the United States Bobsled team he took on the role of driving the sleds, winning several medals in his bobsledding career of 17 years from 1985 to 2002. He made his last run at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, a track where he set a world record time in the 4-man sled.

Bruce also set a track record in lake Placid course in the 2-man. Bruce was the Europa Cup point leader in 1993, and 1993 and 1997, and Americas Cup Champion in the same year. He is a15-time National/ World Team Member.

Bruce was on two World Championship Teams; 1993, 1996, and he is a Three Time National Champion Driver: 1990, 1992, and 1996. Bruce was second ranked U.S. Driver in 1993 World Championships in Igls, Austria. The 1994, 1998 and 2002 United States Olympic Team Alternate Driver.

Bruce competed in five Olympic Trials in 1988, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2002. He was selected by his peers as the Athletes Rep to the United States Olympic Committee. While training as a world class athlete, Bruce was often asked to speak to schools and Church groups, and later in 1994 was presented the Sagamore of the Wabash Award from then Governor Evan Bayh. The Sagamore is the highest honor be-stowed to a Hoosier.

Bruce received the award for Sportsmanship and speaking to kids about "Saying No to Drugs". Bruce has given many motivational speeches for over 20 years on teamwork, spiritual motivation, positive coaching, staying focused, and what it's like to train and then travel on ice at 100 mph in a bullet shaped vehicle, called a bobsled.

Bruce, Mario Andretti and Tony George, were featured on ESPN, a documentary called "Ice Pilots" a docudrama about bobsled drivers and what it takes to train at that level, produced by Mike King.

Bruce has appeared in several nationally distributed television commercials for corporate sponsors and represented or sponsored by many national companies such as TaylorMade Golf, adidas, Under Armor, UPS, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Avis, Radio Shack, M&M Candies to name a few.

Bruce has appeared in celebrity parade laps for two Indy 500 races. Bruce coached high school track at Terre Haute North Vigo for four years then he started a company called "All Sport Speed", working with athletes on sprinting techniques for football, basketball and baseball.

Some notables; NFL players Jamie Petrowski, Colts, Jermaine McGee, Bills, and Jarvis Reed, Packers, baseball, Nick Ciolli, Chicago White Sox, Danny Etling, Purdue QB, and many other college athletes coming out of the high school ranks.

Bruce was also a part of the first two years of the REX staff, as a speed and strength coach. Bruce also created and coached a travel baseball team, the Indiana Tigers, a 14U team that produced three D1 players, AJ Reed, Tony Rosselli, and Scott West, and one D3 pitcher, Jimmy Maxwell. The team was very talented and qualified for the 14U World Series in Florida.

Bruce is excited and very optimistic to be a part of the REX,as an owner and general manager, and looks to the fans and sponsors to make it a team effort in being successful for years to come. Bruce thanks everyone who comes to the games to help these young men develop in to professional players some day, and reminds everyone how fortunate we are to have a great entertainment, such as America's past time right here in the Wabash Valley.
